The Sunday morning journey to Moylagh proved worthwhile for Longwood as they maintained their 100% start in the Premier Football Championship with a deserved victory against their doughty north Meath opponents.
Longwood raced into an early 1-3 to 0-0 lead in the opening ten minutes: the goal coming courtesy of Josh Meagher. This impressive start settled the men in black & white and they were able to keep the opposition at arm’s length for the duration.
