The Royal County's footballers and hurlers take to the field this weekend and Longwood is well represented on both panels.

In the second round of the NHL, the hurlers travel to Aughrim on Saturday afternoon for what is likely to be a tough battle with Wicklow. Meath will be looking to bounce back from an opening round defeat to Offaly.
