After the heroic efforts of our footballers last weekend, our attention switches to the Senior Hurling Championship this coming Sunday.

Longwood opened their SHC campaign with a narrow victory over Killyon and will know that an improved performance will be required against a fancied Trim team.

The game takes place in Páirc Tailteann @ 1.30 on Sunday afternoon.

As with the previous round, Covid restrictions mean attendances are severely limited.

The good news is that all of this weekend's SHC games are being streamed live on Meath GAA TV.

An individual game costs €6 while die-hard hurling supporters can avail of the €20 offer to watch all 4 games (includes re-watch access)
