This week, Longwood Bord na nÓg had the pleasure of visiting the local primary and secondary schools in Longwood to promote our GAA and LGFA clubs.
It was a day full of excitement for everyone involved. We would like to extend a special thank you to Mr. James Rafferty from Coláiste Clavin for making this event possible, as well as to Ms. Laura Bagnall from St. Nicholas Primary School for her assistance in co-ordinating everything.
Following the club promotions, we held engaging Q&A sessions with our special guests. Representing the GAA, we had Meath footballers Billy Hogan (past pupil of both schools), along with Sean Brennan from Dunderry GAA and Ciarán Caulfield from Trim GAA.
On the LGFA side, we were joined by Molly McLaughlin (Meath Minors), Ella McCann (Meath U16), and Longwood LGFA players Amy Brady, Katie Barker, and Lauren Murray.
Thank you to everyone who made this day such a huge success, and to both schools for their warm hospitality and support.
Ní neart go cur le chéile. 🏁🏁🏁🤍🖤
