A huge weekend for Meath GAA with the Minor Hurlers, Senior Hurlers and Senior Footballers all in action, and all playing in very important games.
The Minor hurlers are first to take the field when they travel to Birr to take on Offaly in the first round of the Leinster Championship. It's bound to be a serious challenge for this young team but they are sure to give it everything! Later on Saturday afternoon, the Senior hurlers host a strong Kildare side in Trim in the concluding round of the National League. Fresh from a victory over Down last weekend, hopes will be high for a repeat performance.
On Sunday, the bandwagon rolls on to Inniskeen where Meath's Senior footballers will do battle with neighbours Louth. Having suffered a drubbing to the wee county last year, the Royals will be keen to avenge that result. This too is the final round of games in the National League and with promotion to Division 1 and a place in a League Final up for grabs, victory is a must.

While teams have yet to be officially announced, Longwood are likely to be represented in all three games and we wish Ronan, Sean, Damien, Mickey, Billy and Harry all the best in their respective games.
Hopefully they all have a successful weekend!
