Meath make their debut in the Super 8's this Sunday with a difficult road trip to Ballybofey to take on Ulster Champions, Donegal.

Meath have enjoyed a successful season to date, gaining promotion to Division 1 of the National Football League before progressing to a Leinster Final and ultimately securing a place in the Super 8's with a nail-biting victory against a gallant Clare team last weekend.

Donegal will present an altogether stiffer test but the Royals can take heart from the fact that they ran them close on two occasions during the league.

As can be seen from the full list of fixtures (see below) there are no easy games in the Super 8's but this is where Meath need to be to continue their development as a team. A good start is half the battle so fingers crossed they can get something from the game and look forward to games with Mayo and Kerry with a degree of optimism.
