Hard luck to our U12 hurlers who lost out narrowly to Drumree in last night’s League Semi-Final.

The boys and girls performed heroically on the night, working tirelessly and taking some excellent scores. While they were understandably devastated to lose out, they should be very proud of their performance and the manner in which they represented our club. It was great so see such a big Longwood crowd in attendance and I know we are all very proud of the team.

Thanks to Enda and Jim for their hard work and dedication with this group of players – they have improved enormously over the past number of months and with a bit of luck they will achieve some tangible success in the near future. They certainly deserve it.
