On a cold and wet evening, certainly not one for the faint-hearted, Longwood's young guns produced a fantastic performance to edge out Moynalty by 2 points in the second round of the U14 League.

Trailing by 4 points at halftime, the boys produced some fantastic football in the second half, making light of the conditions to secure two valuable league points.

Next up for the lads will be a visit to Bective in a fortnight's time.

Longwood: Daniel Donnelly-Fahey, Cian Colgan, Adam Peacock, Fionn Hannon, Conor Dixon, Harry Leigh, Coyle O'Brien (Capt.), Brian Stagg, Evan Palmer (1-0), Laoghaire Connolly (1-1), Ben McLoughlin (2-1), Luke Brady, Malachy Fisher (0-4), Conor M Dixon, Sean Hanlon Upton.

So a great start to the weekend for Longwood. Fingers crossed there will be more to follow!
