As I'm sure you are all aware, Longwood GAA's nursery takes place every Friday evening. We are very fortunate to have so many children attending the nursery every week and they really enjoy the fun games that are provided by our amazing coaches/mentors.

If you are interested in helping out with the nursery (perhaps your child has just started to play) we would be thrilled to have some additional help.

There is an upcoming Fundamentals Workshop for any new parents wishing to assist with the Nursery.

The details are as follows:

Venue: Boardsmill NS

Date: Monday 8th April

Time: 7.30 to 9.00 p.m.

Tutor: Christine O'Brien

Workshop is Free.

It is essential that we get our new parents/helpers/coaches upskilled in this area so that other coaches can move forward with their children to U7 and U8 teams etc.

Remember the Nursery must be self sufficient so the new children attending must have their parents "Stay and Play". 

If you are interested - and helping out is both fun and rewarding - please inform Brian Holton/Niamh Burke/Declan Dixon or any of the Juvenile mentors. They will be happy to help and get you set up for the workshop.
