A sure sign that winter is behind us (we hope!) is the sound of our young footballers and hurlers back on the training fields in preparation for the coming season.

While our U14/U15/U16/U17's have been back for some time, our younger players have a few extra weeks off.

Well that's all about to change!

Our U12 footballers returned to training this week and they will continue to train every Wednesday evening @ 7.00 p.m.

Next Wednesday, February 27th our U8 and U10 footballers will return to training at the usual time of 6.00 p.m.

Our younger hurlers (U8 - U13) have been training away for a number of weeks and will continue to train on Friday evenings @ 6.00 p.m.

Finally, our youngest players (aged 4-6) will return to action on Friday evenings - the Nursery re-commences on Friday March 1st @ 6.00 p.m. on the astro pitch.

We wish all our young players the very best for the year ahead.

If you would like to get involved, perhaps help out with some of our juvenile teams, please feel free to contact any of the mentors or members of the Juvenile committee.

Please don't feel that you have to have a strong GAA background - there are plenty of experienced mentors who will show you the ropes and point you in the right direction.

All help is gratefully accepted.
