The GAA season hits top gear over the next few days as Longwood's senior hurlers take their bow in the 2018 championship.

Perennial rivals, Trim will present a stern test in the opening round which takes place in Athboy on Saturday evening @ 7.00

Longwood/Killyon's U14 hurlers also square up to Trim in the U14 Hurling League Shield Final on Thursday evening @ 7.00.  The game will take place in Longwood and hopefully home advantage will make a difference.

Saturday afternoon sees Longwood's U12 footballers host Blackhall Gaels in the U12 League semi-final.

The weekend concludes with an U14 Football League semi-final against Dunsany and an U12 Hurling League game away to Drumree.

Please come out and support our heroes, present and future, as they represent Longwood with pride over the weekend.
