Longwood’s U12 footballers came strong in the second half to clinch a 0-20 to 0-9 victory over visitors St Colmcilles. 

St Colmcilles could only field 9 players which made things a little tricky for Longwood who, with a panel of 16 players, had to weave many substitutions into the game to ensure all players were given some game time. 

Nevertheless the players coped well with all the changes and produced some excellent football to secure a third consecutive league victory.
